Which discounts work
CodeBulk adds codes to code discounts. These work:
- Amount off code discounts (Shopify’s basic discount)
- Buy X get Y code discounts
- Free shipping code discounts
- App discounts that use codes: discounts other apps build on Shopify Functions. These show the app’s icon in search.
In the app’s FAQ: “If the third party application utilises Shopify Functions it will work out of the box.”
Automatic discounts
Section titled “Automatic discounts”Automatic discounts apply at checkout without a code, so there’s nothing for CodeBulk to add codes to. They don’t appear in search, and if CodeBulk can’t confirm that a discount takes codes, it queues nothing:
Could not confirm that this discount accepts codes, so nothing was queued. Codes can only be added to a discount that uses discount codes.
Finding a discount
Section titled “Finding a discount”Search by the discount’s title. You get up to 10 code discounts, the best matches first. If no title matches and you typed at least 2 characters, CodeBulk looks for a discount that has that exact code.
