Your first codes

This walks through one job, from picking a discount to downloading its codes. You need a code discount in your store first: CodeBulk adds codes to a discount, it doesn’t create one.

1. Open CodeBulk from your Shopify admin.
2. Select a discount. Search by the discount’s title, then pick it from the results. Only code discounts appear.
3. Choose Generate codes.
4. Set the count and length. The Example shows a sample code as you change the settings. The defaults are 1 code, 8 characters, letters and numbers. See Generate codes for every field.
5. Click Generate. CodeBulk creates the job and starts importing the codes into Shopify in the background.
6. Watch Previous jobs. The job shows Importing with a percentage while it runs, and Complete when it’s done. The list refreshes every 5 seconds while a job is running.
7. Download the CSV. Open the job’s actions menu and choose Download CSV.

The codes are on the discount in Shopify as soon as they’re imported. To see them there, choose View codes for the discount.

On the free plan, your first 500 codes are free. A job that would go past that is refused as a whole rather than cut short. See Plans and the free allowance.
