Discount code generator
Make up to 10,000 unique, random discount codes with your own prefix and suffix, and download them as a CSV. It runs in your browser: no sign-up, and the codes never leave this page.
- The same rules as the CodeBulk app
- Every code in a file is different
- A CSV with a Coupon column, ready to upload
Using the codes
From a CSV to a working code.
A code only works at checkout once it's on a discount in your store. The file is the first step.
01
Download the file
One column headed
Coupon, one code per row: the format CodeBulk's own exports use.02
Add them to a discount
In CodeBulk, select the discount, choose Upload codes and drop in the file. CodeBulk imports every code into the discount. How uploads work
03
Send them out
Import the same file into your email or SMS platform, or anything else that takes a CSV, and give each customer a code of their own.
The rules
What the generator allows
- How many
- 1 to 10,000 codes per file. The app goes to 1,000,000 in a single job.
- Length
- 2 to 20 random characters, not counting the prefix and suffix.
- Characters
- Letters and numbers, letters only (A–Z) or numbers only (0–9). Codes are always uppercase.
- Prefix and suffix
- Optional, up to 15 characters each, so a set is easy to spot in reports.
- Enough room
- A set can use at most half of the possible codes for its length and characters: 4 numeric characters allow up to 5,000. Past that, the form asks for a longer length.

Questions
Before you download
- Is it really free?
- Yes. There's no sign-up and no limit on how many files you make. Each file holds up to 10,000 codes.
- Do my codes leave my browser?
- No. The codes are made on this page with your browser's own random number generator, and the CSV is built on your device. Nothing is sent to us or stored.
- How random are the codes?
- Each character is drawn with crypto.getRandomValues, the browser's cryptographic random source, evenly across the characters you chose. Every code in a file is different.
- How do I add the codes to a Shopify discount?
- A code works at checkout once it's on a discount in your store. In CodeBulk, select the discount, choose Upload codes and drop in this file: it has the Coupon column the upload looks for.
- Will the codes clash with codes already in my store?
- This page can't see your store, so it can't check. Shopify needs every code to be unique across all your discounts and rejects a code that already exists. A prefix or suffix you haven't used before keeps a new set apart.
- Can I make more than 10,000?
- In the app: CodeBulk makes up to 1,000,000 codes in a single job and adds them straight to the discount. Your first 500 codes are free.
