Every Shopify store has a discount link. The QR code holds it, so a scan does what a click would.

The code has to be on a discount in your store: a QR code carries the code, it doesn't create it.

Before you print
- What does the QR code open?
- Your store's discount link: https://your-store/discount/CODE, plus ?redirect= and a path when you choose where to land. Shopify applies the code and sends the customer on to that page.
- Does the code have to exist in my store?
- Yes. The QR only carries the code: it works when the code is on a discount in your store. Make the discount in Shopify first, then the QR.
- Does it work with my own domain?
- Yes. Enter your myshopify.com address or the domain your customers use. A store name on its own gets .myshopify.com added.
- Do QR codes from here expire?
- No. The image is a fixed link. It keeps working for as long as the code works in your store.
- PNG or SVG?
- SVG for print: it stays sharp at any size. PNG for email, social and anywhere that wants an image file.
- Is anything sent to CodeBulk?
- No. The QR codes are drawn on this page, and the ZIP is built on your device. Your store and your codes never leave the browser.
